I just wanted to let you all know that Roger has made the world cup. He has trained hard for years to be able to play at this level of competition and I think he deserves all the praise in the world.

All I know is that only the top 2 people make it and the event was held in Barbabdos.

In fact...that's the team that he will be planning for...Team Barbados. He's a dual citizen and the team for Canada is already picked I imagine with Mike Weir.

I think the fact that Roger is a local Ottawa boy makes this extra special. Pass this site on to everyone you know.

Roger is a non-sponsored athlete that should probably start getting some attention.

Here are some of the details of the 4 day event (I only have the scores from 3 of the days):

Day 1- 77

Day 2- 72

Day 3- 69

Great stuff Roger!!! We're all proud of you.

Good thing it's as easy to post on the message board here as it is on Nomad's site :)

That being said....

Congratulations, Roger! Hope you achieve all the goals you've set for yourself.

Most importantly, have fun!!!
